How a social worker became a REALTOR®

I came to Vancouver in 1990. I had been a social worker, and I could not find that work here. Many Hong Kong immigrants at the time were under-served, and my brother was getting licensed the same year, so real estate seemed fitting. I was licensed in 1992, and since then I have worked in several brokerages, in resale and new-project marketing, mostly with overseas investors — and from 2014 to 2024 as Managing Broker of Regent Park Realty.

Where I work

Local knowledge, from Steveston to Coal Harbour

Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and Richmond first — and Delta, Surrey, the North Shore, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.

Steveston

I have lived here for more than 20 years. People say it is too far from the city centre; they overlook the direct bus to the Canada Line. For families, and for anyone after the waterfront and a quiet life.

Brentwood

I have done deals here, and my daughter lives here. It is not only for young people: the Kensington recreation area and Burnaby Lake Park are close by. For active people.

Coal Harbour

I have bought and sold here since 1992. Not everything here is too expensive, and it is very walkable. For city lovers who like the outdoors.

What I am selling right now

Still active, every day: my current listings, live from the MLS®.
